The 1st July saw us celebrate our first birthday at the wonderful Bovey Castle Hotel and what better way to celebrate than with Pimms, canapés and birthday cake!
It’s been an exciting year and we are delighted with the response we have had to our new business:
Not bad for year one we feel! But for us, it’s not only about doing what we do in excellence, but also about developing relationships with others in business. We have a great core team and are fortunate to have worked with an extended team of 15 over the past year. We enjoy being with people, and we are often looking for opportunities to get involved in the local community.
This year also saw us launch the Cream Tea Club, an informal business networking group. Organised alongside Jo Butler from the Eden Hotel Collection, the Cream Tea Club provides an opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere in a collection of South West venues. Events have so far been held at Buckland Tout-Saints Hotel, the National Marine Aquarium and the Moorland Garden Hotel.
We look forward to our future Cream Tea Club events and are currently in the process of booking venues for 2017. Our next event will be at Dartington Hall on 15th September followed by Bovey Castle Hotel on 24th November. We are also pleased to announce that on 29th September we will be launching The Cream Tea Club in Cornwall, debuting at the beautiful Mullion Cove Hotel!
So all in all we are thrilled with our first year in business and we look forward to the year to come. We have loved working with clients including Benjamin Britten, The National Marine Aquarium, The RFU, Smarta Reductions, Conference Plymouth, Vualto and Splash Projects.
